<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a beat control device which can prevent the occurrence of beat in a transmission mechanism in which a belt-like transmission member is disposed between a pair of rotators.SOLUTION: A beat control device 1 suppresses beat generated on a transmission mechanism 100 including a driving pulley 101 which is driven by a driving motor 107, a driven pulley 103 freely rotatably supported and a toothed belt 105 which is disposed between the driving pulley 101 and the driven pulley 103 and transmits driving force of the driving motor 107. The beat control device 1 acquires frequency of meshing sound generated upon the meshing of the driving pulley 101 and the toothed belt 105 on the basis of rotation-number command value of the driving motor 107 and, when a deviation between frequency of the meshing sound and frequency of vibration sound of the toothed pulley 105 is within the predetermined range (for example, 20 Hz or less), it is predicted that beat occurs and the number of rotation of the driving motor 107 is changed.</p> |
