<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fine particle manufacturing apparatus capable of efficiently manufacturing fine particles of nanometer order with uniform particle diameter, allowing for easy control of particle diameter; and a fine particle manufacturing method using the apparatus.SOLUTION: The fine particle manufacturing apparatus comprises: a reaction vessel for accommodating a reaction liquid containing one or a plurality of raw materials (A) for fine particle growth and, on an as needed basis, an auxiliary raw material (A), dissolved in solvent; heating means which heats the reaction vessel; circulation means for circulating the solvent or a part of the reaction liquid; and raw material addition means for adding one or a plurality of raw materials (B) for fine particle growth and, on an as needed basis, an auxiliary raw material (B), to the circulating solvent or the reaction liquid. The addition of a specified quantity of the raw material (B) for fine particle growth to the circulating solvent or reaction liquid allows for further growth of the fine particles in the reaction liquid, with new nucleation being inhibited.</p> |
