PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an audio encoding device capable of suppressing an error in predictive encoding without deteriorating encoding efficiency.SOLUTION: An audio encoding device is configured to, on the basis of a first channel signal and a second channel signal included in a plurality of channels included in an audio signal and a plurality of predictive coefficients included in a codebook, perform the predictive encoding of a third channel signal included in the plurality of channels. The audio encoding device has a selection part for selecting the predictive coefficient corresponding to each of the first channel signal and the second channel signal such that an error to be specified by a difference between the third channel signal prior to the predictive encoding and the third channel signal posterior to the predictive encoding can be minimized. Furthermore, the audio encoding device has a control part for controlling the first channel signal or the second channel signal such that the error can be more reduced.
