PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical image photography device capable of reducing reconfiguration processing time and improving the image quality.SOLUTION: The medical image photography device includes a reconfiguration section, an interested area setting section and a control section. The reconfiguration section receives projection data based on radiation detected by a detection section, divides the project data into multiple subsets and sequentially generates images by performing reconfiguration processing by sequential approximation method. The interested area setting section sets an interested area to images. The control section obtains a variation value indicating a change in the image quality of an image from the images sequentially generated and, when the variation value reaches a prescribed value, specifies a new subset number which is less than the number of the subset to the reconfiguration section and causes the reconfiguration section to reconfigure the sequential images for the subset whose number is the new subset number. The reconfiguration section weights the projection data on the basis of the interested area and divides the projection data into the multiple subsets on the basis of weighting. |
