PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recording method which can provide an image having high picture quality, in which feathering is suppressed.SOLUTION: The image recording method comprises: a first step of recording a ground layer on a substrate by using an ink composition for forming a ground layer; and a second step of recording a color image layer on the ground layer by using a process color ink composition, which is conducted in a state that a residual amount of a volatile component in the ground layer becomes 5-50 mass%. |
