<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic light-emitting diode having satisfactory efficiency and a long lifetime.SOLUTION: An organic electroluminescent device comprises a cathode, an anode and at least one layer containing an organic compound expressed by D-A-G (A is 9, 10 bound anthracene which may be substituted, D and G are condensed aromatic ring compounds selected from among naphthalene, anthracene, phenanthrene, pyrene and perylene which may be substituted). The compound expressed by D-A-G has atropisomerism and an atropisomer excess rate of at least 90% is present.</p> |
