PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for facilitating classification of base stations forming macrocells and femtocells.SOLUTION: A microwave radio communication device is configured to communicate with one base station selected between at least first and second base stations which correspond to first and second cells, respectively. The first cell has a greater area of coverage than the second cell. The device is configured to acquire data from BSID (base station identification information) transmitted from each base station to classify signals from the first base station and signals from the second base station which each indicate relative cell coverage. Thus, the device can perform selective registration with one of the first and second base stations according to the classification.
