The present invention relates to a rotary floating machine including a rotor unit rotating along a circumference of a rotary shaft (13), in which a fixed inner housing (IH) is provided in a predetermined radial distance in at least one partial axial region around the rotary shaft, the housing can be divided along the rotary shaft (13) in upper and lower half inner housing portions (3, 4) adjacent to each other along a horizontal flat dividing surface (12), and the inner housing (IH) is surrounded inside at least one axial section by an outer housing (OH) able to be divided along the rotary shaft (13) in upper and lower half outer housing portions (1, 2). Also, a method of disassembling the rotary floating machine is disclosed. The lower half inner housing portion (4) provides a supporting means (5) supporting the lower half inner housing portion (4) at an upper surface of the lower half outer housing portion (2). The supporting means (5) is detachably mounted to the lower half inner housing portion (4) in at least two supporting positions (P1, P2) facing the rotary shaft (13) along the flat dividing surface (12). |
