TREATMENT OF FEMALE STRESS URINARY INCONTINENCE

Abstract Diagnosis and treatment of stress urinary incontinence by the use of a positional feedback catheter. Positional sensors are embedded in the catheter to provide real-time tracking of the position and movement of the catheter. Methods include sensing relative position of the bladder with respect to a fixed reference point like a bone within the body and manipulating the bladder position to alleviate incontinence.
