PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner with high reliability.SOLUTION: The air conditioner comprises: a refrigerant circuit in which a gas-liquid separator, a compressor, a condenser, an expansion valve, and an evaporator are sequentially connected in a circular pattern and a refrigerant flows. The refrigerant is a single refrigerant of R32 or a mixed refrigerant including 50 wt.% or more of R32. The compressor comprises a compression mechanism part that forms a compression chamber. The gas-liquid separator comprises: a container body; a suction pipe in which one end is positioned in the container body and another end is connected to the compression mechanism part; and a liquid return pipe in which one end is positioned in the container body and another end is positioned in the suction pipe. In the container body, the one end of the liquid return pipe is positioned below the one end of the suction pipe, and a passage length from the other end of the liquid return pipe to the compression chamber is equal to or less than five times an inner diameter of the suction pipe. |
