PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a robotic catheter system for accurate and functional automation control for a catheter and related components.SOLUTION: A robotic catheter system 10 includes a robotic catheter manipulator assembly 300 supported by a manipulator support structure 500. The robotic catheter manipulator assembly may include a robotic catheter device cartridge 400 and a robotic sheath device cartridge which are detachably attached thereto. Each of the cartridges can be moved with respect to the robotic catheter manipulator assembly in a general linear manner. An input control system 100 is provided to control an operation of a robotic manipulator assembly. The robotic catheter system 10 includes a visualization system 12 for displaying the position of the catheter and/or the sheath attached to the robotic catheter device cartridge and the sheath device cartridge. |
