<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly and surely synthesize images to be displayed.SOLUTION: Component data necessary for constituting one image data are selected from a flash ROM 20 (component storage part) in which character data are stored in a compression format, and graphic data are stored in a non-compression format, and the component data stored in the compression format are expanded by a data expansion engine 22 (display component expansion part), and then transferred to a video RAM 24 (image data component storage part) to be stored, and the component data stored in the non-compression format are transferred to the video RAM 24 (image data component storage part) to be stored. Thus, the component data stored in the video RAM 24 (image data component storage part) are transferred to a sprite engine 26 (image data synthesis part) to be synthesized on the basis of a predetermined rule, and one image data 100 are generated and displayed on a liquid crystal monitor 30 (image display part).</p> |
