PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a saccharified solution having excellent fermentation properties.SOLUTION: The saccharified solution includes a solubilized decomposition product produced in pretreatment of lignocellulosic biomass in an amount of 0.5 to 30 mass% relative to the total sugar content in saccharified solution. The saccharified solution has excellent fermentation properties such as high product concentration and high yield of sugar, suitable for use in fermentation production of various chemical products by microbes.
