The invention concerns a method for eliminating heavy metals from contaminated water through a green filter involving microorganisms and aquatic plant organisms. According to the invention, a tank is dimensioned according to the volume of the water to be decontaminated, whether it is of industrial or agricultural origin or urban waste. Decontamination is brought about by means of a plant filter composed of a Typha spp. genus matrix plant species and an accompanying species selected from the genus Phragmites spp, Iris sp., Sparganium sp., Cyperus spp., Scirpus spp., Typha ssp. and Nelumbo sp., together with microorganisms of the vesicular-arbuscular fungus groups and/or Raoultella terrígena bacteria, previously inoculated in the plant roots, which enables heavy metals to be reduced or eliminated. Finally, the filter consisting of a combination of different aquatic plant species enables the parameters in the final water quality to be reduced.
|
