PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device capable of effectively correcting blur of an image due to the movement of an imaging device by combining optical image blur correction and geometric deformation processing, and a control method of the imaging device.SOLUTION: An imaging device provides offset according to a geometric deformation amount to a drive amount of an optical member in optical image blur correction so that the center of a reference area necessary for geometric deformation processing becomes close to the center of an imaging area. Thus, the imaging device can increase a possibility that the reference area necessary for the geometric deformation processing falls within the imaging area, and effectively correct image blur by combining the optical image blur correction and the geometric deformation processing. |
