PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projection device capable of projecting images and outputting voices, and automatically performing appropriate volume setting of a voice in accordance with an environment to be used.SOLUTION: A projector 100 that receives input of image signals and voice signals, creates images according to the image signals to be input and projects the images on a screen 201, and outputs voices according to the voice signals to be input; and includes a distance measuring sensor 114 that acquires a value of a distance between the screen 201 and the projector 100. The projector 100 further includes volume setting means consisting of a control unit 104 and a voice processing unit 112 that perform setting of a volume level of a voice that is output according to the value of the distance acquired by the distance measuring sensor 114. |
