The invention relates to an ejector (1) for a firearm comprising a main ejecting body (5) with an ejecting element (46) arranged thereupon in such a way that, after mounting of the ejector (1) on the housing (3) of the firearm, the ejecting element (46) protrudes into the path of movement of a breech mechanism (71) that is guided in a longitudinally movable manner in the firearm housing (3) and runs forward and back, said element forms an abutment for the case head (61) of a cartridge case (59) pulled out from the firing chamber by the breech mechanism (71) running back and, after actively engaging with the case head (61), said element ejects and/or discards the cartridge case (59) from the firearm housing (3), characterized in that the ejector (1) additionally comprises means (7a, b, 9a, b, 11a, b, 13a, b) on the basis of which the ejecting element (46) is mounted in relation to the firearm housing (3) in a yielding manner in such a way that, as a result of active engagement with the case head (61), it runs back together with the latter over a short straight path, on which it is slowed down to a standstill and thereby ejects/discards the cartridge case (59). The invention also relates to a firearm housing (3) comprising a breech arrangement guided in a longitudinally movable manner in the firearm housing (3) and an ejector (1). Finally, the invention relates to a firearm with such an ejector and/or such a firearm housing (3). |
