The compressor has a running wheel (1) comprising a hub (5) and main shovels (7) that are extended from the hub. The shovels are extended along radial direction of a shovel forward edge (13) and face away from the hub, where the shovel forward edge is formed in a shovel upper edge (15). The shovel forward edge comprises a wave-shaped profile and forms a sweep angle (17) i.e. acute angle, with the shovel upper edge. The shovel forward edge is forwardly fixed at a side, which is turned away from the hub. Pressure pulses are reduced before the shovels move with the wheel rotation.
