The propellant charge extractor has a connectable attachment (1) and a pipe cleaning rod for a weapon barrel. The connectable attachment has a connectable side that is connected with the pipe cleaning rod. A side that is opposite to the connectable side of the connectable attachment has a curved hook (3). The curved hook is connected with a bag of a propellant charge by a push-rotary motion. A centering disk of the pipe cleaning rod prevents sparking due to contact of the connectable attachment with the weapon barrel, during execution of the connectable attachment. An independent claim is included for a method for ammunition loaded with propellant charge in a weapon barrel.
