<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotating speed detection device for a sphere capable of easily detecting the rotating speed of a sphere used for a ball game such as a baseball.SOLUTION: A rotating speed detection device for a sphere which measures the rotating speed of a sphere moving while rotating in a three-dimensional space includes: a magnetic sensor which detects a geomagnetic vector at least in one axial direction; a signal processing part which processes a detection signal that the magnetic sensor detects; a power supply part which supplies electric power to the magnetic sensor and signal processing part; wireless means for transmitting detection data of the magnetic sensor, having been processed by the signal processing part, by wireless to an external reception device; reception means for receiving the detection data of the magnetic sensor transmitted by wireless through the wireless means; and rotating speed calculation means for calculating the rotating speed by analyzing the frequency of the detection data of the magnetic sensor that the reception means receives, the magnetic sensor, signal processing part, power supply part, and wireless means being fixed in the sphere.</p> |
