摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform error-correction decoding and encoding and align delay time of the whole optical signal relay to the same value for each of a plurality of optical signals with different transmission rates when relaying the optical signals with a plurality of wavelength.SOLUTION: An optical signal relay comprises: error-correction decoders 71 to 74; delay circuits 81 to 84; and error-correction encoders 91 to 94 for performing error-correction encoding for each optical signal to which delay time is given. A delay control circuit 110 sets each delay time on the basis of upstream delay circuits 81 and 82 so as to align upstream delay time of the whole optical signal relay to the same value for each of a plurality of upstream optical signals with different transmission rates, and sets each delay time on the basis of downstream delay circuits 83 and 84 so as to align downstream delay time of the whole optical signal relay to the same value for each of a plurality of downstream optical signals with different transmission rates.
