<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve safety of V-shaped pier influenced by change in tidal current or change in wave force at the time of typhoon or tsunami and accumulation of drift sand within V-shaped pier bay.SOLUTION: There is provided means for keeping safety of a V-shaped pier designed with a wave force formula at the time of design of a V-shaped pier being P=3WH, a mound masonry is 30-ton class masonry, an outer periphery of its surface has a tetrapod masonry more than 30-ton class, the V-shaped bay masonry is also 30-ton class masonry, as for the drift sand, water is drained from a water receiving pond toward the extremity end of the V-shaped pier in a draining direction for draining through a drainage facility so as to prevent the drift sand from flowing into it, the tidal current is changed to cause the drift sand at the V-shaped pier to be guided to offshore, the wave height is high at the time of typhoon and tsunami and along with this trend, drainage volume is also increased, so that a tidal flow direction is also substantially influenced to enable the drift sand to be prevented from entering it, the tidal flow is changed in advance through installation of diving pier and the drift sand is prevented from entering and accumulating there.</p> |
