PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a leg holding device for health promotion for effectively performing a twisting exercise for an upper body.SOLUTION: A leg holding device for health promotion disclosed in the invention includes: a first winding member 11A and a second winding member 11B which are respectively wound around a left thigh and a right thigh of a user; a first fastening member 12A and a second fastening member 12B which maintain a state in which the first winding member 11A and the second winding member 11B are wound around the respective thighs; and a connecting member 13 which connects the first winding member 11A and the second winding member 11B. The connecting member 13 comprises: a first tape 14A protruding from the first winding member to the side of the right thigh; first elements 15A formed on a tip end of the first tape; a second tape 14B protruding from the second winding member to the side of the left thigh; second elements 15B formed on a tip end of the second tape; and a slider 16 for meshing the first elements and the second elements and for disengaging the first elements from the second elements.
