A liquid crystal display panel and a method for manufacturing a liquid crystal display panel. The liquid crystal display panel comprises: a first substrate (1), a second substrate (2) and a liquid crystal layer (3) located between the first substrate (1) and the second substrate (2). A bulge (4) is provided at the side of the first substrate (1) close to the liquid crystal layer (3) and the side of the second substrate (2) close to the liquid crystal layer (3) respectively.
