The purpose of the present invention is to provide a novel method for efficiently inducing the differentiation of induced pluripotent stem cells into intestinal epithelial cells, and a use thereof. The differentiation of induced pluripotent stem cells into intestinal epithelial cells is induced by: a step in which induced pluripotent stem cells are differentiated into endoderm-like cells; a step in which the endoderm-like cells obtained at the aforementioned step are differentiated into intestinal stem cell-like cells; and a step in which the intestinal stem cell-like cells obtained at the aforementioned step are differentiated into intestinal epithelial cell-like cells, said step including culturing in the presence of EGF and at least one compound selected from the group consisting of MEK1 inhibitors, DNA methylation inhibitors, and TFG&bgr; receptor inhibitors. |
