<p>The present invention provides an inexpensive and small rotating electrical machine wherein the reduction of a winding wire space in a slot is suppressed, a temperature detection element is held in an insulator to enable the temperature of a coil external layer section to be detected, and the number of components is kept from increasing. In the rotating electrical machine pertaining to the present invention, a trunk section and an insulator are disposed so that the lengthwise direction of the trunk section is aligned with the radial direction of teeth, and the bottom surface of the trunk section follows along both axial end surfaces of the teeth, the insulator having a pair of flange sections linked with both lengthwise ends of the trunk section. A concentrated winding coil is configured so that a conductor wire is passed through a recess space formed by the trunk section at both axial ends of the teeth and the pair of flange sections, and is wound around the teeth in multiple layers. One of the pair of the flange sections is disposed on the end surface of the back of a stator core, and the temperature detection element is inserted into an element insertion hole and is disposed so as to be capable of detecting the temperature of the coil end of the concentrated winding coil. The element insertion hole is formed in the flange section.</p> |
