APPARATUS FOR ENDOSCOPIC PROCEDURES A shaft assembly (200) is provided for interconnecting at least one rotatable drive shaft (118) of a hand-held electromechanical surgical device (100), and an end effector (400) actuatable by an axial drive force. The shaft assembly (200) includes a flexible drive cable (242) rotatably supported in an outer tube (210), the flexible drive cable (242) includes a proximal end operatively connected to a respective rotatable drive shaft (118) of the hand-held surgical device (100). The flexible drive cable (242) being off set a radial distance from a central longitudinal axis of the outer tube (210). The shaft assembly (200) includes an articulation rod (278) at least partially slidably supported in the outer tube (210), and an articulation link (240) having a proximal end (240a) pivotally connected to the distal end (278b) of the articulation rod (278) and a distal end pivotally (240b) connected to a distal neck housing (236). The articulation rod (278) being off set a radial distance from the central longitudinal axis of the outer tube (210).
