PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide landing piers and seawalls connection structure, which has an arrangement that a gangway footplate connecting a landing pier and a seawall does not allow any gap to be between the gangway footplate and the seawall.SOLUTION: A connection structure for a landing pier and a seawall in this invention includes a gangway footplate 3, which connects a landing pier 2 and a seawall 3. One end of the gangway footplate 3 is fixed to the landing pier side with a connector 4 while the other end of the gangway footplate 3 is slidably placed on the seawall side. There is formed an interspace 10 with a specific width between the aforesaid gangway footplate 3 and the seawall 2. The interspace 10 is filled with a cylindrical elastic body 5 which has a hollow part 5a and installed on the side face of the gangway footplate 3. The aforesaid elastic body 5 has the upper section with the hollow part 5a, which flexibly deforms with compression, and the lower section with a plate part 5b which can be fixed on the side face of the gangway footplate 3, showing a P-shaped cross section. |
