PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an evaporator the cooling performance of which can be improved and in which degradation in thermal conductivity of cold heat of a refrigerant flowing in a straight tube of a heat exchange tube to the whole plate fins can be suppressed.SOLUTION: The evaporator includes a plurality of fin groups 3 comprising a plurality of plate fins 2 arranged in parallel and a heat exchange tube 4 comprising a plurality of straight tube parts 5 fixed in the plate fins 2 of the respective fin groups 3 in a penetrated manner and bent tube parts connecting the adjacent straight tube parts 5. An upstream side portion and a downstream side portion of each plate fin 2 in an air flow direction are obliquely bent and each plate fin 2 is composed of a body part 7 located on a plane making a fixed angle with the straight tube part 5 of the heat exchange tube 4 and parallel with the air flow direction and inclination parts 8 integrally formed on an upstream side edge part and a downstream side edge part in the air flow direction of the body part 7 and inclined from the body part 7. |
