摘要 A push/pull operating device includes first and second operational devices mounted to two sides of a door. The first operating device includes a first bracket having a plurality of non-circular mounting holes. Two engaging rods extend through two of the mounting holes of the first bracket, the door, and a latch device mounted in the door. Each engaging rod has a limiting portion fixedly received in one of the mounting holes. A head of each engaging rod presses against the first bracket. The second operational device includes a second bracket having a plurality of non-circular mounting holes. A bolt is extended through one of the mounting holes of the second bracket and the door and engaged with one of the engaging rods. A head of each bolt presses against the second bracket. Thus, the first and second brackets are securely fixed to the sides of the door.

a first transmission member (40A) including a pivotal portion (44) pivotably received in the pivot hole (25) of the first bracket (20A), with the first transmission member (40A) further including a flange (42) on an end of the pivotal portion (44) of the first transmission member (40A), with a protrusion (48) formed on the flange (42) of the first transmission member (40A), with a driving hole (46) extending from an end face of the flange (42) through an end face of another end of the pivotal portion (44) of the first transmission member (40A), with the flange (42) of the first transmission member (40A) located outside of the first surface (22) of the first bracket (20A), with the pivotal portion (44) of the first transmission member (40A) adapted to be received in the first through-hole (135A) in the first side (117) of the door (116); a first spindle (111A) having first and second ends (113, 115), with the first end (113) of the first spindle (111A) engaged in the driving hole (46) of the first transmission member (40A), with the first spindle (111A) and the first transmission member (40A) jointly pivotable, with the second end (115) of the first spindle (111A) adapted to be coupled to a follower (171) of a latch device (12) mounted in the door (116), with the latch device (12) including a latch (153) movable between a latching position outside the door (116) and an unlatching position inside the door (116); a first axle (76A) pivotably received in the engagement holes (34) of the wings (32) of the first bracket (20A); a first handle (52A) pivotably mounted to the first axle (76A), with the first handle (52A) including a base (54) having inner and outer faces (56, 58), with an arm (60) formed on the outer face (58) of the first handle (52A), with the first handle (52A) pivotable about a pivot axis defined by the first axle (76A) between a release position and a pressing position; a first actuating block (80A) mounted to the inner face (56) of the first handle (52A), with the first actuating block (80A) including a pressing portion (84) abutting the protrusion (48) of the first transmission member (40A), with the first actuating block (80A) pressing against and pivoting the first transmission member (40A) when the first handle (52A) pivots from the release position to the pressing position; a second bracket (20B) including first and second surfaces (22, 24), with a pivot hole (25) extending from the first surface (22) through the second surface (24) of the second bracket (20B), with a plurality of mounting holes (28) provided around the pivot hole (25) of the second bracket (20B) and having non-circular cross sections, with the second bracket (20B) further including two lateral sides extending between the first and second surfaces (22, 24) of the second bracket (20B), with a wing (32) formed on each of the two lateral sides of the second bracket (20B), with each wing (32) of the second bracket (20B) including an engagement hole (34), with the second bracket (20B) adapted to be mounted to a second side (119) of the door (116), with the pivot hole (25) of the second bracket (20B) adapted to align with a third through-hole (135B) in the second side (119) of the door (116), with two of the plurality of mounting holes (28) of the second bracket (20B) adapted to align with two fourth through-holes (137B) in the second side (119) of the door (116); a second transmission member (40B) including a pivotal portion (44) pivotably received in the pivot hole (25) of the second bracket (20B), with the second transmission member (40B) further including a flange (42) on an end of the pivotal portion (44) of the second transmission member (40B), with a protrusion (48) formed on the flange (42) of the second transmission member (40B), with a driving hole (46) extending from an end face of the flange (42) through an end face of another end of the pivotal portion (44) of the second transmission member (40B), with the flange (42) of the second transmission member (40B) located outside of the first surface (22) of the second bracket (20B), with the pivotal portion (44) of the second transmission member (40B) adapted to be received in the third through-hole (135B) in the second side (119) of the door (116); a second spindle (111B) having first and second ends (113, 115), with the first end (113) of the second spindle (111A) engaged in the driving hole (46) of the second transmission member (40B), with the second spindle (111B) and the second transmission member (40B) jointly pivotable, with the second end (115) of the second spindle (111B) adapted to be coupled to the follower (171) of the latch device (12); a second axle (76B) pivotably received in the engagement holes (34) of the wings (32) of the second bracket (20B); a second handle (52B) pivotably mounted to the second axle (76B), with the second handle (52B) including a base (54) having inner and outer faces (56, 58), with an arm (60) formed on the outer face (58) of the second handle (52B), with the second handle (52B) pivotable about a pivot axis defined by the second axle (76B) between a release position and a pressing position; a second actuating block (80B) mounted to the inner face (56) of the second handle (52B), with the second actuating block (80B) including a pressing portion (84) abutting the protrusion (48) of the second transmission member (40B), with the second actuating block (80B) pressing against and pivoting the second transmission member (40B) when the second handle (52B) pivots from the release position to the pressing position; two engaging rods (86), with each of the two engaging rods (86) including a body (88), a head (92), and a limiting portion (90) between the body (88) and the head (92), with an abutment face (94) formed at an intersection of the body (88) and the head (92), with the limiting portion (90) of each of the two engaging rods (86) including non-circular cross sections and not rotatably received in one of the plurality of mounting holes (28) of the first bracket (20A), with the abutment face (94) of each of the two engaging rods (86) abutting the first surface (22) of the first bracket (20A), with the bodies (88) of the two engaging rods (86) adapted to extend through the two second through-holes (137A) in the first side (117) of the door (116) and extend through two through-holes (151) of the latch device (12); two bolts (141) engaged with the two engaging rods (86), with each of the two bolts (141) including a head (143) abutting the first surface (22) of the second bracket (20B), with the two bolts (141) adapted to extend through the two fourth through-holes (137B) in the second side (119) of the door (116) and the two through-holes (151) of the latch device (12), with the latch (153) moving between the latching position and the unlatching position when either of the first and second spindles (111A, 111B) pivots, and with each of the two bolts (141) in a tightened state, the head (92) of each of the two engaging rods (86) presses against the first bracket (20A), and the head (143) of each of the two bolts (141) presses against the second bracket (20B), securely fixing the first and second brackets (20A. 20B) to the door (116).
