A spectacle lens production system for producing spectacle lenses that fit into frames whether the frame-inserting procedure is carried out on the requesting side or on the producing side, the system comprising: an information storage unit that stores a matrix which is obtained by converting the relationships between frame types and the content of frame-inserting procedures carried out on either the spectacle-lens-producing side or on a plurality of requesting sides that request spectacle lens production, and in which the size-correction values for the expected processed shapes of lenses to be processed exist as numerical values; a processing-information acquiring unit that acquires processing information computed on the basis of a size-correction value selected from the matrix in the information storage unit according to the frame type and the content of the frame-insertion procedure, on the basis of spectacle-lens-producing-side information including processing device information, on the basis of spectacle-lens-production-requesting-side information including tracer information including information related to the type of tracer used to measure the shapes of frames, and on the basis of frame information including prescription information, spectacle lens information, and information related to frame type; and a processing device that processes lenses to be processed on the basis of the processing information acquired by the processing-information acquiring unit.
