The present invention achieves a structure that can prevent the pulling out of a needle (4) from the inside of a pocket (5a), even before the completion of assembly of a radial needle bearing, and that can sufficiently alleviate the concentration of stress resulting from force applied to a column section (3a) due to variation in the speed of revolution of the needle (4). The axial central part of the column section (3a) is disposed further radially inward than the pitch circle diameter of the needle (4), and the axial end parts of the column section (3a) are disposed further radially outward than the pitch circle diameter of the needle (4).
