The system (1) has a platform (12a) i.e. ship, and another platform (12b) moved relative to the former platform. The former platform is designed for providing and/or generating energy, and an optical fiber (18) is arranged between the platforms. The optical fiber is designed for optical transmission of energy from the former platform to the latter platform, where the optically transmitted energy is partially used for driving a heat engine of the latter platform. The optical fiber is provided for connecting the platforms, where the heat engine is designed with a closed process gas guide.
