<p>A vehicle transmission is provided with a power transmission mechanism (101) that is interposed between an input shaft for transmitting input shaft torque to an output shaft (A3) and the output shaft (A3) and that includes a plurality of gear mechanisms that correspond to each of a plurality of gear positions. The power transmission mechanism (101) transmits input shaft torque to the output shaft (A3) via only a first gear mechanism (101a) that corresponds to a first gear position when the first gear position is selected from among the plurality of gear positions and transmits input shaft torque to the output shaft (A3) via only a second gear mechanism (101b) that corresponds to a second gear position when the second gear position is selected from among the plurality of gear positions. When shifting from the first gear position to the second gear position, input shaft torque is transmitted to the output shaft (A3) via the second gear mechanism (101b) and a specified amount of torque is made to circulate from the output shaft (A3) to the input shaft via the first gear mechanism (101a), after which the circulation of the torque is cancelled. As a result, it is possible to mitigate shift shock resulting from torque at the time of shifting in a vehicle transmission that shifts between a first gear position and a second gear position.</p> |
