The present invention can generate conversion data for the sediment classification with enhanced signal to noise ratio by accurately and rapidly selecting the boundary of seawater and seabed and effectively removing unnecessary noises of the upper seabed from elastic wave exploration data when automatically analyzing kinds of seabed sediments using the elastic wave exploration data. The speed and accuracy of the sediment classification can be improved by classifying the sediments on the basis of the conversion data for the sediment classification.
