PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a beverage containing a sweetener having high degree of sweetness with improved taste, and a method for manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: A beverage containing a sweetener having high degree of sweetness with improved taste or the carbonated beverage thereof, which contains acid taste imparting material such as phosphoric acid and citric acid whose acid degrees are in the range of 0.01 to 0.4%, and 0.02 to 0.1 ppm of bitter taste imparting material such as quassin and iso-α-acid.
