PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a user with information that is customized for a vehicle and easily accessible.SOLUTION: Disclosed is a method of storing a configuration code, with which a type of automobile 1 and specifications therefor can be identified, in a memory unit 2 during manufacture of the automobile. Pieces of information on types of one or more automobiles are uploaded from an external data source 4 into a mass storage device 3 disposed in the automobile. The stored configuration code is used to select the information on the specific vehicle 1 from among the pieces of information stored in the mass storage device 3. A user of the automobile can access the relevant information alone. The present method may include a step of restricting information, which is provided, when a speed of the automobile is higher than a predetermined speed. |
