<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording apparatus capable of suppressing deterioration of image quality by reducing inclination deviation.SOLUTION: A recording apparatus acquires inclination information in a recording element array with respect to a scanning direction of a recording head; stores in a recording buffer the image data used when recording by one scanning of the recording head; out of the image data, stores in a transfer buffer three columns of image data used for the recording element array; from the transfer buffer, reads out in units of blocks two continuous columns of image data out of the three columns of image data used for the recording element array and selects which one column of the image data to use on the basis of the inclination information; reads out one different column of image data for the recording element array from the recording buffer to rewrite the region of the one selected column of the recording element array in the transfer buffer; and transfers the selected image data to the recording head for recording on the basis of the transferred image data.</p> |
