<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intermediate transfer belt configured to prevent bloom or bleed, reduce electric resistance, prevent increase in electric resistance with time, prevent afterimage, prevent white dot, suppress variation of electric resistance, and improve voltage dependency of the electric resistance.SOLUTION: An intermediate transfer belt is arranged in an image forming apparatus including an image carrier, developing means, and transfer means. A toner image developed from a latent image formed on the image carrier is primarily transferred to the intermediate transfer belt. The intermediate transfer belt is made of a polyimide base material or a polyamide imide base material, and contains at least (A) at least one kind of ester monomer of acrylic acid or methacrylic acid, (B) at least one kind selected from the ester monomer of quaternary ammonium salt-containing acrylic acid or methacrylic acid, and amido monomer of the quaternary ammonium salt-containing acrylic acid or methacrylic acid, and (C) copolymer obtained by polymerizing with polyalkylene glycol group-containing unsaturated monomer, and organic salt of alkali metal.</p> |
