An optical image lens system includes, in order from an object side to an image side, a first lens element, a second lens element, a third lens element, a fourth lens element, a fifth lens element and a sixth lens element. The first lens element has positive refractive power. The second lens element has positive refractive power. The third lens element has positive refractive power. The fourth lens element has refractive power. The fifth lens element with refractive power has an image-side surface being convex in a paraxial region thereof, wherein at least one surface of the fifth lens element is aspheric. The sixth lens element with refractive power has an image-side surface being concave in a paraxial region thereof, wherein at least one surface of the sixth lens element is aspheric, and the image-side surface of the sixth lens element has at least one inflection point thereon.

1. An optical image lens system comprising, in order from an object side to an image side:
a first lens element with positive refractive power; a second lens element with positive refractive power; a third lens element with positive refractive power; a fourth lens element with refractive power; a fifth lens element with refractive power having an image-side surface being convex in a paraxial region thereof, wherein at least one of an object-side surface and the image-side surface of the fifth lens element is aspheric; and a sixth lens element with refractive power having an image-side surface being concave in a paraxial region thereof, wherein at least one of an object-side surface and the image-side surface of the sixth lens element is aspheric, and the image-side surface of the sixth lens element has at least one inflection point thereon; wherein the optical image lens system has total of six lens elements with refractive power, and of the first lens element, the second lens element, the third lens element, the fourth lens element, the fifth lens element and the sixth lens element of the optical image lens system, there is a space in a paraxial region between every pair of lens elements that are adjacent to each other.
