MATERIAL MIXTURES CONTAINING VANILLIN AND VANILLYL VANILLATE

The invention relates to a material mixture, containing (a) vanillin, and (b) vanillyl vanillate. Surprisingly, it was found that contrary to their taste profile, synthetic vanillin and synthetic vanillyl vanillate show a synergistic behavior as individual substances, and within broad limits come very close to the natural vanilla.
