LIGHT EMITTING MODULE AND ILLUMINATING DEVICE USING SAME

A light emitting module (1) is provided with a light source unit (2) and a base unit (3) on which the light source unit (2) is attached attachably and detachably. The light source unit (2) has an attachment mechanism (21) that attaches the same to the base unit (3), and the base unit (3) has an attachment receiving mechanism (31) that mates with the attachment mechanism (21). In addition, the light emitting module (1) is provided with a hook mechanism (5) that connects and latches the light source unit (2) and base unit (3) when the attachment mechanism (21) and the attachment receiving mechanism (31) are not mated. The hook mechanism (5) falls within the thickness of the light source unit (2) when the light source unit (2) is attached to the base unit (3). With the constitution above, the light source unit (2) can be prevented from falling off of the base unit (3) by the hook mechanism (5) even when the mating of the attachment mechanism (21) and the attachment receiving mechanism (31) is released; in addition, the visual quality of the light emitting module (1) is excellent because the light source unit (2) does not become thick even if the hook mechanism (5) is provided.
