The method involves connecting a gas-conveying volume valve (12) with a region of a low pressure sensor. The gas-conveying volume valve is opened and closed at a predetermined frequency when pressure variation at the low pressure sensor is measured and evaluated. Amplitude value of a pressure pattern at the low pressure sensor is evaluated. The frequency of the pressure pattern is evaluated, where the frequency is ranged between 1 Hz and 100 Hz. Mean value i.e. amplitude value, is calculated from successive oscillations of the pressure pattern.
