PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide new inhibiting peptides targeting globotriose-binding site of B subunit of Stx2d and Stx2c to inhibit toxicity of Shiga toxin (Stx) of enterohemorrhagic E. coli.SOLUTION: The therapeutic agent for enterohemorrhagic E. coli infection is a Stx2-inhibiting tetravalent peptide having such a structure that respective 4 terminal amino residues of a molecular core structure comprised of chemically bonded 3 lysines are conjugated to one peptide motif species selected from MMMRRRR, LMARRRR, MMVRRRR, MMSRRRR, QMARRRR and IMARRRR directly or via a spacer.
