PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel phthalocyanine compound useful as an organic thin film solar battery material, and a method of producing the compound having a short synthetic route and high yields as a whole.SOLUTION: A phthalocyanine compound has a fullerene structure represented by the formula, where X is a group comprising C60 fullerene ((C60-Ih)[5, 6]fullerene).
