In order to provide a highly accurate pressure detecting device unaffected by external force components, this pressure detecting device for installation on equipment targeted for measurement has: a strain inducer (15) for generating strain in response to pressure when pressure of a pressure medium is applied thereto; and a strain sensing element (16) joined to the strain inducer (15) at a surface thereof to the opposite side from the pressure-receiving surface, wherein the strain sensing element (16) has one or a plurality of centrally-situated strain-resistant bridges (300a) arranged in a center portion in the direction of joining of the strain sensing element (16), and one or a plurality of outer peripherally-situated strain-resistant bridges (300b-300n) arranged in outer peripheral portions thereof. Deformation of the strain sensing element (16) arising, for example, due to external force during screw fastening to equipment targeted for measurement, is calculated by the plurality of strain-resistant bridges, and errors in detected pressure of the pressure value detected by the centrally-situated strain-resistant bridge (300a), arising from the calculated deformation thereof, are corrected, the corrected pressure value serving as the detection value of the pressure detecting device. |
