An expansion joint device is provided to let vehicles pass through by absorbing the longitudinal displacement, transverse displacement and vertical coverage of bridge decks without damage and keeping the continuity of bridge decks. The invention relates to an expansion joint device for connecting a road and a bridge or a bridge and a bridge and housing the longitudinal displacement, transverse displacement and vertical coverage of bridge decks(1), which comprises a hinge-roller unit(3), a hinge-hinge unit(4), a portal frame(5) and a base unit(6), wherein the hinge-roller unit and the hinge-hinge unit are coupled to the base unit by hinge bolts to be rotatable in rightward and leftward directions, and the portal frame is assembled between the hinge-roller unit and the hinge-hinge unit to be rotatable in upward and downward directions to let vehicles pass through. |
