In order to suppress torque reduction and the like due to misalignment between the central axis of a worm (2) and the central axis of a motor shaft (150) in a motor device (1): a coupling (13) is provided between the worm (2) and the motor shaft (150); the coupling (13) includes a first coupling (11) that is constituted by a motor-side coupling part (4) and a transmission member (5), and a second coupling (12) that is constituted by the transmission member (5) and a worm-side coupling part (26); a spring arrangement hole (23) is formed inside the worm (2) in a coaxial manner with the worm (2); and, in a state where the compression coil spring (8) is arranged in the spring arrangement hole (23), the compression coil spring (8) urges the transmission member (5) toward the motor-side coupling part (4). |
