PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that extreme thickening occurs when recovery operation is performed before printing only to printing color depending on a decap time.SOLUTION: When a printing image is a monochrome image and a color printing frequency is less than a predetermined level, a non-printing discharge condition of a black color corresponding to a printing frequency is selected from a non-printing discharge condition table set in advance to perform recovery operation. When a printing image is a color image or a color printing frequency is a predetermined level or higher, non-printing discharge conditions of all colors corresponding to respective printing frequencies are selected from the non-printing discharge condition table set in advance to perform non-printing discharge operations for all colors. |
