<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide portable electronic equipment loaded with a capacitance type touch panel capable of detecting a distance with a pointer by using an electric field, which is capable of securing performance as the touch panel even when an equipment body is strongly held with the hand.SOLUTION: Cover glass 280 is connected to a casing with respect to a laminate structure consisting of a backlight 250, a liquid crystal display part 260, a touch panel part 270, cover glass 280 and a scattering prevention film 290, and shield grounds 310 and 311 shaped so as to be brought into contact with each end of the laminate structure are disposed along two opposite sides in the transverse direction. Thus, even when the equipment body is strongly held with the hand, the shield grounds 310 and 311 are not moved. Thus, it is possible to prevent the path of a line of electric force between the transmission electrode and reception electrode of the touch panel part 270 from being changed, and to prevent an erroneous coordinate signal from being output.</p> |
